International socialite and philantropist, Becca Cason Thrash, is one of the world's fashion elite. A devotee of high fashion since the age of 15, this native of Harlingen, Texas, has conquered many worlds; fashion is just one of many! A member of the ultra elite group of ladies who shop the Haute Couture in Paris and are front row at any designer's show she chooses, Becca is recognized as having one of the most trained and keen eyes for fashion. A friend, muse and favorite of too many top designers to name, Becca lives the life that dictates the most descriminating taste in what she wears. We are truly delighted to recognize this global fashion icon as this year's Fashion Houston Style Icon.

Through her tireless work for charities, Becca has raised tens of millions of dollars to do her greatest work; helping others. From Best Buddies to the Boys and Girls Harbor she is aways there to lend a hand or her considerable financial and social clout to Houston Grand Opera, Houston Ballet, The Museum of Fine Art and to any organization who needs her including the American Friends of the Louvre. Becca has Chaired the past two Liason du Louvre Gala's at the museum in Paris to much worldwide acclaim and applause.

She and energy magnate husband, Dr John Thrash, are avid collectors of contemporary art and fascinating people! Their Memorial area mansion, Longwoods, has been Ground Zero for all the best parties and biggest celebrities visiting Houston for many years and an invitation to attend one of her glittering parties is a coveted invitation to be sure and an event not to be missed.
